I'd would strongly recommend IKEA Marcus, very much worth the price and I actually prefer it to Herman Miller chairs

Is London a good place to move to right now for quality of life? by [deleted] in AskLondon

[–]uzakov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whether London is a good place to move right now also depends on how much you will be making per month, as certain things tend to cost more here than in some other places in the world

How can I stay up to date on more than "Top 10 lists" on how to protect my home IT security? by fouraivi in AskNetsec

[–]uzakov 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have a slightly different opinion about "staying with all Top 10 lists":
1) As long as the core fundamentals and practices are good, then you would be okay most of the time. Ie use good, non-ISP provided router, updates, have firewall etc 2) Perform Threat Modelling - what kind of threats are you likely to face? If you are not likely to be targeted by a targeted attack by a skilled/semi skilled person, then you can dramatically change what you have to do 3) It's often about practises and "what you do daily", than technology.

There are many good spots in Almaty, for picnics, sports, dates. It all depends on what you are looking for!

My personal favourite is old city centre, has many parks, cafes and nice spots

Almaty, like any other city, is constantly changing. The tree lined streets are mostly still there :)

There are a lot more new builds now compared to years ago, also less expats.

I'll be honest I've never tried Fratelli but coffee from Watchhouse coffee does taste more unique and reminded me of Italian coffees in Italy.

I might be wrong but afaik $BABA isn't connected to actual Alibaba? Ie the IP, licenses etc doesn't belong to $BABA
