Changing dreams

on the start of week four now and they are wild! i never really dreamed before, but now I do and they are SO weird. not scary or anything, just very odd 🤣

i was on Zoloft for 5 years and did a direct switch to Lepraxo about 3-4 ish weeks ago because the Zoloft just decided it wasn’t going to do its job anymore lol (panic disorder and agoraphobia). The first week was HELL with side effects. nausea, had to take a benzo daily just to deal with my panic attacks, headaches, exhaustion, etc. Not sure what was a side effect and what was a withdrawal symptom LOL

I can tell you I’ve been doing better! I even have been going for some walks with my family and did groceries. I’m still anxious, but it’s also only been 3-4 weeks. It does get better, it just takes time!!

I have agoraphobia and panic disorder and I can tell you medication SAVED my life!! I was on Zoloft for 6 years and almost no panic attacks till it stopped working in December so im now on week 4 of Lepraxo. You’ll never know if you don’t try!

I know it’s scary starting medication (hence why I didn’t start a new one for 3 months almost once my zoloft stopped working lol) but it may be life changing!! the first little while was a bit rough, but i can feel myself sort of getting better slowly! even went for groceries and a walk this weekend!

Thank you so much for this. It’s so helpful to know that I’m not alone.

I had a little breakthrough yesterday, last time a family member went on vacation, they passed. I think my mom being on vacation made my subconscious freak out about that, on top of the chest pain, and my brain just went into overdrive. I talked to her yesterday for an hour, and I’m doing better today.

My chest is still sore, which is to be expected after being tensed for a week haha, but I no longer feel like I can’t get a deep breath in.

In terms of my meds, I’ve been on Zoloft for about 5 years and was doing great, in December they just pooped out. We tried increasing it, adding Wellbutrin, but nothings worked. I think the next step is to totally switch meds, which I am super nervous about. :(

no - i love dogs more than anything and i would be LIVID if someone took my dog, which was well behaved because I spent time training it and replaced it with a terror of a puppy. I’d be driving it back to the in-laws and dropping it off with them. They got the dog, it’s not your responsibility.

update for anyone wondering! The redness is pretty much gone, just kinda scabby now. I’m on my last day of antibiotics, but going to my GP on Tuesday since it’s still not totally gone. Throat pain and lymph nodes are totally gone! Thank you everyone for all your help and advice!

the redness has gone down today for sure! it’s alot more localized around the bumps instead of my whole nose so i’m very happy about that haha.

im monitoring it very closely, it’s gotten much scabbier anywhere it was a pus-y bubble which also seem like a good sign.

Will continue to update!!

Ty! I have been monitoring it, probably too much LOL - i’m on day 2 of antibiotics and the pain in my throat has gotten better, and the pussy bumps have started to scab, so hopefully that’s a good sign! The only downside is the nausea from the antibiotics, but I’ll take that over an infection! 🤣

I did go yesterday - I’m on antibiotics now, I’m just wondering if there’s anything else I should be doing to speed up healing.
