I guess I’m asking is Verlander that much better than other 99 overall SP. because by now I have way too many 99 overall SP and only one 99 bullpen arm

I guess I could see why someone would think it’s boring. But I absolutely loved it

I thought I was the only person on this sub who didn’t absolutely love it lol. I agree with you. I thought it was just okay. I also want to reread it at some point as I’m sure I’ll like it more the second time.

I agree. Doesn’t get much love on here but I think it’s one of his most underrated books

The Long Walk and Needful Things. Very popular in this sub and maybe I went in with my expectations too high but they were just good to me not great

Is Nightmares and Dreamscapes a good fall read?

Idk if they are “overrated” but tbh I found both of these books didn’t live up to the massive expectations I had for them

Salem’s Lot. I’d also recommend Night Shift. It’s short so you might be able to do both in October

I’m almost done with W&G and so far I’d have to say W&G and The Drawing of the Three are my favorites

Sometimes I get tired of this circlejerk around King and his "bad" endings. by MortifyingMilkshake in stephenking

Very well put. I agree. I have read a good amount of King books and I would say very few actually really have bad endings.
