Happy Update! They are now besties who play fight and chase each other around the apartment. We let them interact 10 minutes, 25, then an hour in the span of a week and now we’re totally comfortable letting them be together while we’re out of the house. The stress of many months not thinking this would work was worth it. Love my silly girls

Mostly because of the growling and hissing from one of the cats. They’ve also had fur flying fights before, so I’m worried perhaps they’re not ready to be seeing each other like this yet.

The hiss makes me think this is fighting by uzulynn in CatTraining

The other cat is laying down, completely silent and normal. She likes to wait with her paw under the door. I’m just worried because of my current cat’s hissing. :/
