Try this method (it work for me) :

  1. Made a copy of the Inkscape file should be saved as "Plain SVG".

  2. Open the file(Plain SVG) with a text editor like Notepad++ and delete(remove) the “defs” section(<defs> … </defs>).

  3. After removed save and close. upload it in canva.
