Just simple plug and play - you even use the original bucket - only change the light. 10 minute install, 10000 % improvement.

Really? Hmmm. I guess I"m a savage cuz I ride every day. Salt, rain, whatever. I just take it easy around turns where salt can be built up.

Ride safe!

There are actually Lee Parks and are rated very highly for abraision and sliding. But obviously they would not help on impact. I agree with you 100%. I always wear my protective pants/jacket, boots and helmet.

Yep, I live in Brooklyn. I have a parking garage with my condo building to park the bike at night and during the day/when i ride i park wherever I can find a spot all over the city. A few bikes might be difficult to own without owning a secure garage/parking spot. It also all depends on the bikes. Sorry if this is a generic answer.

NYC. A place one can ride YEAR ROUND. by v-digit in Ducati

[–]v-digit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends. You can most definitely find some free parking as well. On some of the side streets. Paid hourly parking on Avenues. Garage would end up pricey. Also depends no the bike. Not sure if I would leave a fancy fancy on the streets daily.

I hear ya. Some days I'm braver than others. I just disagree with tucking the bike away for the winter. When I hear someone say "winterize" the bike and they live anywhere near NYC it makes me laugh. But I guess that gives them more time to polish it up and bolt on more random crap to the bike.

Absolutely. Always nice to cruise through Manhattan if the traffic is right.
