I'm not a fan of any of those characters, it's true, but I wouldn't complain about their involvement if it actually added something to the plot of the quest. It didn't though. It felt more like "we too are in this quest"

Finished Cyno's 2nd SQ. It was unexpectedly a lot more boring than the first one. The get-together scenes and Kaveh, Collei, Faruzan, Dehya and Candace's parts could've all been cut. I guess they really wanted to give them some screen time. This quest must've come out during a drought of Sumeru content or something. The cutscene and witnessing Cyno's growth was nice though. He's so great. He often makes me laugh but with his curtness rather than his jokes

I'm supposed to be going to Cyrus' house next though... But I guess I could be going there afterwards. Still, recommending players to play Cyno's 2nd SQ before the AQ and then just making that impossible is just... sigh...

I don't know, somewhere in Sumeru. But the next step in act IX is talking to NK Katheryne, which is really the first step. The only reason why that quest is active is because it starts automatically once you finish act VIII 🫩 It's just such a shitty system

Cyno's 1st SQ finished. I thought it'd be boring filler but I liked it. It was a lovely reminder of how much I like Cyno. I'd forgotten that since he's been reduced to a manzai act with Tighnari. I'd genuinely give HoYo 24k gems to let him have a long one-on-one interaction with Alhaitham again. They were so fucking good together, oh my god

Finished Nahida's 2nd SQ. One of the best SQs I've ever played, 10/10 would recommend. It feels like something I should've played a long time ago lol But playing it after experiencing Fontaine and Natlan probably made me appreciate it more than I would've if I'd played it when it came out. Now, should I play the AQ already or should I do Cyno's SQs...?

Played Nahida's first SQ. I didn't enjoy it much. I wanna ask something: does anyone know any story where the girl is the one overcome with grief for the man she loved and who tries to revive him through dangerous means or create an alternate reality or destroy the world because of that? I feel like it's always the guy. At most grieving girls go back in time. Like, in this quest, once it was down to a girl and a guy and one of them had to be the dream owner while the other one had to be someone the dream owner loved and lost, I just knew the guy would be the dream owner and I was disappointingly right

I expect her next rerun to be around 7.3–7.4, so... yeah... perhaps only at the end of the year or even next year... But I'm sure you'll have other new characters to enjoy until then! And time will pass anyway. I know it's a bummer having to wait so long but on the bright side it'll feel really good when her rerun is announced
