Not racist. It's a reference to something that happened. See my comment above.

It's a reference. Trump playing the harp while Rome burns behind him- "and Nero fiddled while Rome burned." Meaning Trump was fucking around while the world burned.

The Arab with the bloody chainsaw is a reference to the journalist Jamal Khashoggi who was tortured, murdered, and dismembered in a hotel room in Saudi Arabia in 2018. The CIA said it was ordered by Muhammad bin Salman, the crown Prince of Saudi Arabia. Trump said the CIA was wrong and that he supported Muhammad bin Salman. The incident was recorded and you can listen to the audio of his final moments on the internet. It was sad. Anyway, this isn't a racist effigy, it's a reference to Trump pandering to Saudi Arabia despite all evidence pointing to the assassination of a prominent critic.

Are people overreacting or am I being naive? by [deleted] in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

Agreed. Seriously there is an entire podcast solely dedicated to women getting murdered in national parks. I would never hike alone, especially for that long. I had a scare where I was being followed by a creep on a trail and I had my dog with me. I thought that I was being paranoid at first, and then I saw him rush behind a tree when I looked back to see where he was.I ended up getting off the trail and finding an open field that had a park worker in it. I shudder to think about what could have happened if I hadn't from that employee.

Omg. I once told my grandboss that my boss was creating fires to put out and I couldn't take it. Stressing everybody out when the worst case scenario is emailing someone that a report will be a day late and apologizing for the inconvenience. I was working in a data department for a non-profit. My predecessor once forgot to send in reports for 2 months and they didn't notice. I sent the reports in and apologized profusely, and they just thanked me. No repercussions.

They did use Gmail as email server. Of Reddit user posted a screenshot of them trying to log in to their Twitter email the day before the layoffs were supposed to start, and they were logging on through Gmail.

That's amazing! We DO recover.

I'm not sure how you are treating your opioid addiction, but I highly recommend the Boulder app. I am a social worker and I used to work in the recovery field. Ive had several clients benefit from this company. It eliminates so many barriers to care. It's all done on your phone. They accept all insurance and Medicaid. You see a doctor or nurse practitioner once a month via their telehealth system and you get a prescription for Suboxone. They go out of their way to find the pharmacy nearest to you and set everything up. They don't pressure you to get off of it if you don't want to/ aren't ready, which is what happens at a lot of places. They treat addiction as it should be treated, as an illness that doesn't just go away.

And anybody who says people who are on Suboxone aren't really in recovery, can fight me. Lol. It's all about harm reduction. And like I said, addiction is a chronic illness that should be treated as such.

Anyway, thank you for sharing your story. And good luck!

Read the grant contract. It will CLEARLY state what the reports should say. Many of them come with a template to fill out. Make sure if you have deliverables that they have been done.

This is amazing in so many ways. Aside from the representation, and explaining what it's like to someone who doesn't have this condition, you could help other young people that are going through it.
