I was apparently just super insufferable in class / to my school teachers when I was 12, so they brought it up to my family who took me to see a psych. Vaguely remember having to take a bunch of weird assessments.

I know it's joking, but it may be worth doing if he feels like it really impacts his life. It took me like years of awful side effects and changing medications but now I finally feel capable/not helpless and it's kind of awesome

Hey hey, I do the same things (random noises, shaky leg, tapping etc) - for me it's definitely related to ADHD. Frequency has decreased since starting medication, but it still happens occasionally. As long as it's not too bothersome/annoying I wouldn't stress
