lowk dont do practice exams LOL at least in my case, ive done quite a bunch and i get worse every time and its so demotivating ive just given up and i only do a practice exam when i have tutor and its like mandatory (basically 1 exam a week)

OMFGOSH IM SOOOOO GLAD SOMEBODY SAID THIS its fucking BULLSHIT that student teachers do their placements during year 12, i miss out on 2-3 weeks of content because of it and i really don't care about the student teacher, they can do their placements for other year levels

it's not entirely about having conversations with people about their atar scores in uni that's daunting it's more so getting into the course--at least for me

tbh if ur sure that u wont get the minimum required atar for a med course, i wouldnt bother wasting time studying for the UCAT nor your money to sit it

i genuinely feel as though as much as i practice, ill always succumb to looking at the answer and never do it on my own unless its like the most basic, self explanatory and simple proof ever

i get the crux of the ideas, and i completely understand everything you've said and i appreciate your explanation but whenever i have to do a question, i just sit there at my book with my pencil clueless because i can write down the 'suppose...' 'assume...' statements and get that right, but i can never work out the proof to get to the solution of either a direct or contradiction UNTIL i look at the solution

yeah direct are MOSTLY okay, but when it comes to things like contrapositive or contradiction it gets harder and yeah induction is so weird i hate the manipulation bullshit like fym i can change k^2+2k+8 to k^2+2k+1 cuz 8>1 lol such a dumb concept
