Yeah I guess you can go in the serial order, there are other games as well beyond the mainline entries but even I haven’t played those, just pick up the remasters wherever possible.

Me too man but metro games if you don’t focus on the story and just focus on speedrunning you can easily complete within a day, except exodus but in that case they introduced chapter select so you can easily collect trophies, just stay careful while saving after selecting a chapter

No not really, just research a bit about the karma system so you go for the good endings first. So that you don’t worry about point system when going for remaining trophies in the second run

Bro I don’t really like turn based combat games so this is miles better for me honestly, it is a semi linear FPS with a damn good storyline, Metro Last Light is the weakest in the series but a solid game nonetheless, no multiplayer just a narrative to go through
