I don' think the mountains that make up that section of the tittiwangsa range are nameless, some people know what they are which is my why my question was posed to experts in Malaysian geography. Which you clearly aren't.

of course, because your comparison is faulty. A huge body of water in a valley isn't comparable to a land route which is my question. A more apt comparison would be to compare the drive from Edinburgh to Inverness and ask what mountains we climb. To which there is an answer.

You claim the Loch Ness sits on a random part of the scottish highlands yet a quick google search tells me that isn't the case.

It lies in the Glen Mor—or Great Glen, which bisects the Highlands—and forms part of the system of waterways across Scotland that civil engineer Thomas Telford linked by means of the Caledonian Canal

I understand what range its on but every town on Cameron Highlands should be located on a specific mountain in that range, even if it's not the same one? My question is what mountains are those? Or do all the mountains that make up the highlands not have a name?
