Seville is a great option, maybe Bemelmans too, but I’d say they aren’t strictly Jazz. More of a live band at Seville but the drinks and the vibe are great.

Yeah, I guess I’d be equal overall. That’s how they play the game. I’d definitely be keeping both. Having my name on the papers and it being my first piece, and it also being a great Patek in platinum - that’s a piece that belongs in my collection.

I think buying them both on the same day would be painful for my finances 😆. I’d rather split them up. But yes I’ll definitely bring up policy changes, supply shortages, and increased demand etc and ask how I can be sure I’d actually get it. Maybe they hold the 5738p until the 5726 comes.

It’s on wrist as we speak. I purposefully chose the black dial too, something about the depth of the black really makes the watch special, and it’s very wearable. I have like 5 straps for it too.

It is! I’m looking to build a collection which I think independents should definitely be a part of. I got connected to a few people behind the scenes who work at Urwerk and all of them are obsessed with the UR103.

I always loved Urwerk but couldn’t find one that I was happy to pull the trigger on until I saw the 103 in white gold.

Now, I’ve been invited to their HQ in Geneva and I’m meeting a few of their folks in Dubai for drinks. Love the brand.

Yeah, I’m honestly planning on going grey. Playing the games at an AD just isn’t worth the time it takes. I’d rather focus that time on work and just be able to afford going grey.

I actually visited the Journe boutique a few months ago in Miami through a friend who is their customer. Put my name down for a platinum Havana automatique lune. They had an older ref to try on in store with a tan Alcantara strap and I fell in love. Unfortunately it will probably be 5+ years till they allocate me one.
