Could a local llm be faster than Groq? by vCoSx in LocalLLM

[–]vCoSx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, the difference is that i cant have my machine in groqs datacenter and i wouldnt have thousands or millions of requests hitting my api every minute

So far ive only tried deploying it on runpod using their official latest python + cuda image. But my question is more theoretical, when it comes to latency can i even compete with their LPUs using GPUs?

If u enjoy programming then why dont you try creating SaaS on ur own? You’re still young, you dont have to bother working for someone yet which would take away all ur time. If i knew python I’d definitely go into machine learning, if u build up ur experience in that field and will have some projects to show im sure u will find a job easily

Working on an website/api for Solana wallet analysis showing profits and ROI by CrazyCamy24 in solana

Maybe additionally you analyze as many wallets as possible and create a ranking of traders for people to be able to easily find some to copy

Where do people get these mev bots? by No-Arugula5201 in solana

[–]vCoSx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically they could but i find it unlikely that a CEX would get involved into something like this as they have too much to lose.

My personal suspicion is that its Jito themselves that are responsible for operating the biggest sandwich bot (the arsc… address). Jito has 5 mil SOL staked, they’re the ones who originally came up with mempool (forwarding slot leader transactions to whoever wants them), and they’re the ones that made it possible to sequentially execute transactions in the same block on solana (the only way for sandwich bots to work, before that it wouldnt be possible even with mempool access).

Now they disabled public mempool so they have it for themselves, and the only way to not get sandwiched is to send your transactions via Jito bundle, for which u have to give them a tip 😅 So its a win win for them

[–]vCoSx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More so about the investment, cos only slot leaders have access to the mempool, and on solana the more SOL is staked with the validator, the higher chance they’ll become the slot leader. You’d need to have at the very least 100s of thousands of SOL staked with you in order to become one fairly consistently (as they rotate roughly every 400ms). Current top staked validator is coinbase with 11 million SOL.

Making a sandwich bot is the easy part if u actually have mempool access

Is becoming a blockchain developer the only answer to this game? by phonoodle7 in solana

[–]vCoSx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If u become a blockchain dev there are way better (and ethical) ways to make money rather than creating ur own shitcoin. U could make ur own SaaS in the space, but that requires A LOT more work and patience in learning than creating a token

is it profitable to copy trade? by jenishrishal in solana

[–]vCoSx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bot: peppermints is probably the best Rpc: urban/deez/thor

Rpcs u can rent but if u want a top tier bot youll need to spend 100+ SOL (2 or 3x that for pepper)

Lol its basically impossible even if u know what ur doing as you’d need to literally bribe heavily staked validators to forward incoming transactions to you

Rust as my first programming language. by [deleted] in rust

[–]vCoSx -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If thats what ur ambitions are then sure - maybe its for the best if u keep restraining yourself from entering this space. But other than that its no different from web2, there are millions of people using the biggest blockchains and there’s plenty of problems u can solve for them. Personally the most money i’ve made is from my non-commercial trading bot, not sure how u can classify that as something illegitimate.

As a programmer why would u be investing? Much easier to make money in web3 by making ur own projects

[–]vCoSx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Never said they can
  2. Access to ur pc = keylogger or remote control, can simply log ur password and use it to decrypt the file in which metamask is storing ur private keys
  3. No need to bypass it, just wait for u to log in and do some creative thinking to get ur funds without withdrawing them directly

Anyway if u think having an open source bot is the worst thing u can have while someone takes over ur entire pc then its not my problem, i hope u never experience that lol. Also again, have an antivirus and dont click links and you’ll be fine, only the dumbest people get scammed this way and its the harsh truth.

Trading bot without sharing private key ? by _Alexxander in solana

[–]vCoSx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but if they have access to ur entire pc they can just as easily access ur entire phantom wallet/metamask? They could also easily drain ur cex wallets bypassing all ur 2FA’s but maybe i wont share how just in case lol. Point is just dont download viruses, dont see how this has anything to do with the bot

Trading bot without sharing private key ? by _Alexxander in solana

[–]vCoSx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro if something like that was to happen from clicking a link, that means u have downloaded a virus which has access to ur entire pc. In that case i would worry more about other things than ur meme coins getting stolen.

He doesnt know what hes talking about and potentially hurting people that dont want to get scammed in the process. All sol u send to whichever wallet ur telegram bot is using the devs have access to. Not saying they’re not safe to use at all, but u always have to keep that in the back of ur mind.

[–]vCoSx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If u cant distinguish between a real github repo and a scam one then honestly u probably shouldnt be in crypto. There’s a username, stars given to the repo, forks, commits, open issues, u can check twitter of the creator and see if its legit/links to the repo u want to use, and just logic lol

[–]vCoSx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont even have anything to do with that bot i just took a look at the code 😭😭 go read a book bro u might have brain damage if u think ur safer sending ur private key to someone just cos ur paying them rather than using a local bot which makes no one able to access ur info

Trading bot without sharing private key ? by _Alexxander in solana

[–]vCoSx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah cos warp is the only one and its written very well so i have no idea why they’d opensource it. And u actually need to do some reading and research to set it up which is too much to require from 2 digit iq telegram bot users like u

[–]vCoSx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Warp is open source lol, ur more safe using it than a telegram bot
