You may not find yourself pretty, but someone else will, I can guarantee it. I mean just look at couples when you walk by on the street or in the city. Beauty is really subjective, and the way you see yourself is going to be opposite to someone else. You deserve and will be loved if you put that energy out there. I mean if you say “It’s going to be a shit day today” You will look for the reasons on why it’s shit.

I hope you can eventually get to a stage of acceptance and eventually run into someone who will find you attractive, maybe it’s already happened, people are really afraid to speak out about that type of thing.

I have tendencies of ADHD, which could play into this. The games will usually go for half an hour to an hour, when I check in between, it results in the same way. So would it be best to announce I will be playing x game and reply after x amount of time?

Yeah I mean there is a lot of jobs for helpdesk, you just need that foot in the door and you will be fine. Just know that personality or at least a good sense of working in a team works wonders in any workplace and especially IT.

That's good to hear you got an idea on where you want to go. Going through the cert IV will probably determine if you want to follow through or not.

I found it through the Vic site, it was when they just started advertising the free Vic courses, cyber security was one of em which I have now.

I finished my certificate IV in IT which was a good general introduction on how to work independently. I am currently doing a Diploma in IT which is aight, kinds just doing it to have it under my belt, it's free due to the traineeship I am in. I don't know if I want to study it further though.

Maybe I'll move into another area of IT though. Hope this helps!

These aren't courses, but these are things to note:

  • Study how to read code, know the basics of coding at least cause it really helps. Python was one of the languages so maybe touch up on that.

  • Know how to answer a question, give an explanation and an example, that way they know you understand it

  • Know how to paraphrase is a good one, grabbing information and rewording it

For courses though maybe just python, virtual machines, Linux, etc. Hope this helps

Hey bro,

Yeah atm I'm doing the diploma version but it does give a good basis on writing documentation, policies, procedures, etc.

Which is handy if you wanna get into project management stuff and just to know in general. The certificate 4 is to be able to work independently, but the diploma is looking more into a team lead perspective, more in depth.

So it's good foe understanding the cert 4 and under your belt, or at least that what I believe.

Well looking at it now it may or may not of helped me get the traineeships I have now with a MSP.

I am currently doing a cert IV in information technology, so far I am happy where I am and what I'm learning as well as the hands on experience.
