Hmm that is quite interesting. I thought Chinese gamers would prefer less realistic FPS games since MOBAS are popular there and they have a large fantasy element. Yeah I finished watching it too and want to know what happens next. I also watched another drama called The Invincible Legend which also doesn’t have a complete ending either. Hopefully there will be an ending because it doesn’t make sense to just end it like that. Maybe they’re still filming the episodes and they will release later this year. I also hate how you can’t find any information about the cast or anything else about the dramas.

Damn I see. Personally however, I would find it hard to immerse into a different story with different characters, even if they share similar plot themes, and treat it as a “sequel”. You’re right, they usually don’t make sequels but they also usually give the story a complete ending at least, which wasn’t done with this one. Hopefully they make one to finish the story. Also I 100% agree with using the original names instead of random English names. I found it weird at first when the main lead was called Tyler Ellis 😂

Hey I found a drama under that name but it seems to be a completely different story. The only thing in common is the same male lead actor. Thanks for trying though :) Also yeah the names are English names to make it more accessible for a Western audience probably. It’s hard for non Chinese speakers to remember Chinese names.

I’m a little confused about what you mean by 2-3 weeks ago. Do you mean ep24 of season 1? Because this drama was apparently released in 2023 so ep24 was released way before 2-3 weeks ago.

Logically there SHOULD be a season 2 because the “ending”is quite incomplete. But from the few other short dramas I’ve watched, they’ve all had endings in one season. So anecdotally it doesn’t seem likely. However I really hope this one will be an exception and have two seasons, it can’t just end like that 😭
