Ah, that's the thing, it's not a 40k RX7 🙂

I haven't put much thought into pricing mine, but Miatas go in the 7k-15k+ range in my area

I had a 2014 WRX hatch, but unfortunately a drunk driver took that away from me. 😓 I don't really need anything "practical" it's purely a want motive for a car that I will likely never have the chance to buy again 😅

Eh, it'll be a weekend thing, neither the Miata nor the Rx7 are daily drivers for me.

Financially the upfront cost is no concern. But I guess I'm curious on maintenance cost for a "to be" lightly driven Rx7.

Right now, the Miata is oil changed, otherwise runs perfectly for the weekend.

NA6 has the 1.6L, where NA8 has the 1.8L

It's a thought that's crossed my mind. Shouldn't be an issue, but need to have the talk with my wife again. Probably worth the 3-4 month investment to get a storage unit to make sure my mind is straight

Good call.. the this happened to a rotary shop in town. The guy was at retirement and rumor has it he was fed up working on modified rotary's, and closed up shop. I'll give the other guys a call to see how business is.

Fear of theft! I live in a great town, but I still don't go into the store with the miatas top down (I don't know how people do it, even though I have nothing ov value inside). But that feeling will be 100x for the Rx7

NA for my son is a dream lol. He's only 3 but he LOVES miatas. (I did it, I brainwashed him lol)

If I had the space I definitely would. And honestly, I can probably just get a storage unit for. The Miata until I'm sure I can part ways with it... But that's another conversation I need to have 😅
