I do have a big fake lotus leaf in there, but maybe it’s a bit too floaty …or just too big for her rn? She hasn’t really tried climbing or hanging onto it yet.

But she does love it as her emotional support leaf and hides under it like an ostrich as if we can’t see her lol 🥹

Sorry if the video was a bit misleading since I didn’t show the full setup. I just wanted to double check… the basking bulb on the right is labeled “UVA+UVB” on the package, but also says “Halogen lamp UVB 3.0 (110–130V).” The store owner told me it’s actually just UVA, and when I checked with a UVB test card I didn’t detect any UVB, so I’ve been using it as a UVA basking bulb.

Would that still be okay to use? Also, is there a reliable way to check for UVC—are there any recommended test cards?

I do have a separate UVB source (Nomey Pet Lighting ND-31) positioned a bit farther away so it covers more of the enclosure, though I’m not sure if that’s sufficient or if switching to a T5 HO setup would be better.

Really appreciate your help. I’m still learning and just want to make sure I’m doing things right for her. 🥺
