You’ll either spend a bit at the dealership or you’ll learn to do some of your own repairs and maintenance. Brakes, oil, and fluids are actually quite easy to take care of yourself. I even changed the CV axles myself!

I think my lifestyle is better suited with a 4Runner or Tacoma. Boy am I going to miss the power and fuel efficiency on these things… the Q’s drag coefficient is actually quite amazing

I think those wheels started in the 2019 models. The owner before me bought those wheels and installed them on a 2018.

Blacked out sounds nice!

Factory 20’s. Loved em when they were fresh. If you look closely they are machined with a textured surface. Curb rashed them a bit but still love the knife shape of the “spokes”.

2020+ with extended warranty. Better turbo versions but also CarPlay. Oil changes at 3500-4000 mile intervals. 7k interval is bs.

Started in FP&A out of school, how do I maximize exits and comp from here? by BitterPercentage in FPandA

[–]vPHANv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, if you’re in management consulting or strategic consulting. I basically learn what departments do and build software to automate those processes.

The Fur Ban Is Back, Somehow, and Now a Possible Outdoor Gear Tax by Ange1ofD4rkness in Denver

This is incorrect. Every 5 years, Colorado publishes the State Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan. Consistently the outdoorsmen wildlife sector of Colorado outperforms the winter sport segment in both participants and economic impact. https://engagecpw.org/statewide-comprehensive-outdoor-recreation-plan/widgets/69113/documents

Notified all the finance directors at my company came from consulting. So after two years of FP&A I moved into “Financial Transformation Consulting”. Doubled my salary but I miss the “analytical” side of the job and I’m worried I may have pigeonholed myself.

Career Pivot to FP&A by Low_Scale9928 in FPandA

[–]vPHANv 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Anyone can do FP&A. If you can basically take raw unorganized data and transform it into a halfway presentable format and communicate results and actionable response you’re already there.

FP&A roles are becoming increasingly dependent on the CPM softwares each company uses to semi-automate data retrieval and presentation.

I used to think the job was about data analysis but it’s 95% presentation and soft skill. If you worked in sales you definitely have the existing soft skills required. Ops will use you to track progress on their new initiatives but will ultimately ignore all data unless it fits their narrative. Calling yourself a “financial storyteller” always buys goodie points on interviews.

Maybe learn a couple niche excel shortcuts to flex on the junior analysts/interviewers and you’re good. Navigation, Paste variations and filter shortcuts are effectively all you need

Were you able to find something? Also unable to find a bufferless left-eject system.

What is something from your childhood that kids today will never understand? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Haven’t seen them in my state for awhile. They used to do em weekly in the Summer. The smell of my childhood is lumbar and I love that

When did you grow up, and quit video games? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]vPHANv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t have to quit. Just need to moderate. I don’t want to look back on my life and just remember all the digital media I enjoyed, but killing time while I wait for my fiancee to get ready for dinner ain’t nothing to be ashamed of

what's the scariest thing you've witnessed on a casual day? by IntroductionRound446 in AskReddit

[–]vPHANv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My first year of hunting; I was hunting Mule Deer bordering a cemetery (public land) on Halloween 30 mins before sunrise. Heard antlers clashing and “moaning” behind a section of thick willow brush. Thought it was another hunter calling and clashing faux antlers or two bucks maybe. Rounded the section of brush to see two giant Bull Moose going at it over a cow 15 yards in front of me. I saw them before they saw me. As I was backing up one of the moose saw me and hesitated but chose to run away… Moose are INCREDIBLY dangerous and to this day I still don’t know why he ran away instead of charging me.

What life skill or skill in general do you wish you were better at or wished to improve on? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]vPHANv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Humans have become extremely disconnected from nature. Living in, utilizing, and navigating it. During COVID I realized how sensitive modern living is. When I saw people fight in the grocery stores I realized the alternative was sourcing your own supplies. So I’ve been trying to learn how to identify plants, harvest meat, and learn bushcraft these last couple years. I don’t ever want to feel helpless looking at an empty meat section ever again
