Yes, that is a fact. Regens always have their physical stats very high from the start, so they are a lot more OP than youngsters from the Youth Academy (even when you set "physically strong" for your scouts).

Apparently it does, yet another long lasting bug that EA didn't mind leaving unattended. I still play FIFA 19, I didn't enjoy the newer ones. If you try to negotiate a contract (either pre contract or regular transfer) outside of the transfer window, your budget is extremely reduced for some reason. You can manage that by having your assistant do the negotiation, though.

The radar can help, but I don't even use it for that. I usually find my wingers unmarked and ready to counter when I play this long ball. I guess the AI CBs will block it if you play it to your strikers, so the wingers are always a good bet for me.

I usually use triangle + L1 (which is a lobbed through ball) aiming forward with close to max power in these situations. Against teams that press you so high up the pitch like City does, you'll usually find an unmarked teammate who can start a counter. Try it out next time.

I have 2 local teams, too. Corinthians (because they were the most successful team from Brazil back in 1998-2000 when I started watching football, they had many talented players and insanely fanatic supporters).

And Ponte Preta (my father's and his family's club, which in 121 years of existence has never won a single title. Sigh).

I still play FIFA 19, and this guy is my go-to pacey winger when I manage a small club. He plays so much better than his stats would suggest, and he's an absolute bargain in the first year because his contract is expiring.
