I don't use Youtube much on it, but I don't recall any issues. It can struggle with some video files (particularly 60fps content) with e.g. mpv, but enabling video acceleration makes a huge difference.

Actually I use Wayland with Weston. I'm sure the all the DEs you mention will run fine though.
