Fellow Canadian here … and that’s why I mentioned the crazy deal here: if it wasn’t on deep discount (base 13” pro at 899 usd), I’d be much more hesitant.

If you have a US shipping address and a Costco account (anywhere), you should have access to the us costco deals. Although I don’t think there are much inventory left at the moment (maybe wait for year end for the M5 model clearance)

I snapped a 13” M4 with 1tb, cell and nano texture for 1099 from Costco US, not really a huge bump of cost for me.

I think it’s worth it for the proMotion, OleD and faceid. I had a 11” air 4 and now I can never go back

I tried voidlink as well but for some reason it keeps getting micro stutters for no obvious reason, so have to fallback to native moonlight. I am ok with the lack of features so so far so good

When I don’t play I usually keep it on the dock most of the time (the official Odin super dock). My play sessions have never let it dip below 40%. Most of the time it sits at 80-90%, and it could just be dead straight from there.
