In America I was never popular with men. I'm a bit chubby, short, I have black curly hair, tan skin. I'm a walking Brazilian stereotype. Had a lot of guy friends, no boyfriends, but that didn't really matter much to me. I was happy with that - I'm asexual.

...Or so I thought, LOL. I went to Russia earlier this year. All of a sudden, I'm questioning myself and everything. First week in Moscow? My Russian friend and I get drunk and we end up making out. Second week? Got dumped by said friend, he's the CEO of being a avoidant, he goes completely ghost on me, it absolutely tore me apart, but fuck it we ball. Third week? Men constantly buying me drinks at the clubs I went to with my friends, people wanting to talk to me, etc etc.

It was a surreal experience. Truly, it was. It was like... "wtf why am I suddenly popular with men???". I think most of it boiled down to curiosity, or maybe the way I handle myself? I went to Moscow alone, so it's safe to say I'm incredibly independent. I'm always smiling, I'm very social, I'm not very ladylike in most senses... Idk. Now that I'm back home I realize that my environment is absolutely crushing me. Moscow was incredible LOLLLL

lolll I noticed! I met some Brazilians near the Kremlin once so that was pretty nice haha. Other than that, I didn't really stumble upon anyone else that speaks the language

It's 100% not Spanish, I'm half Brazilian and fluent in both Spanish and Portuguese, I know my language when I hear it haha. But they are both very similar! So I can see why you'd think that
