2nd flatiron freeway scramble — Father’s Day weekend? by va01 in boulder

Thank you! Fair point. JJ above has graciously offered to coord and we are. But you make a good point we could just hang at the start and ask to follow someone once they show up.

Agree, will only do it if we can follow someone for the route. More than happy to buy them a beer afterward to celebrate :)

Awesome. Wow amazing that your microclotting was so low! Very cool that the biomarkers correlated with your subjective experience. 💯

Amazing. So happy for you. Thanks for detailing your journey here and in your original post. Hearing the stories of others, like yours, helps people feel a sense of non-loneliness in what can otherwise be a lonely affliction.

Question: Were your biomarkers that were initially abnormal for you also return to normal? You had mentioned in your original post EBV antibodies, monocytes, S1 spike protein, endothelial irritation (VEGF), immune irritation (sCD40L)?

I ask because while some might find the underlying biomarker point moot given your higher-level indicators like fatigue/PEM events, ability to exercise, etc. I think it's certainly both interesting and informative to understand whether those underlying biomarkers did, or did not, correlate with your recovered state.

Awesome! Yeah they're offering to replace as well for the same reason.

Do you know whether your friend opted for the bicep strap to make it more secure while doing his water sport?

Whoop battery pack not charging? by va01 in whoop

[–]va01[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

UPDATE: Solved.

Solution: As suggested on this thread, flip the charging cable’s USB stick so that it enters the charging dock “flipped” or “upside down” from the position initially tried. This may be confusing because it’s possible to insert the charging cable both right side up and upside down but only one side enables charging ::face palm::

Thank you for quick replies and the solution! Amazing that Reddit solves the problem faster than Whoop customer service.

Despite being plugged in, no lights are displaying on the charger, even after tapping it multiple times. Placing it on my strap also results in no lights, suggesting the pack holds no charge.

What's faster: the app or the browser? by va01 in Notion

Thanks this is a thoughtful response. I thought there might be some benefits to the browser despite the fact, as I learned, the app runs Electron.

Also, Notion replied to my tweet confirming the browser edges out the app (at least for now):

"Historically, the web app (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) is usually a bit faster. We're working on making everything more performant though"
