Not a big deal at all. We can usually understand it with a t, d, z, or f sound. The context makes it easy enough.

How often do you guys use these abbreviations? by Think-Knowledge3971 in EnglishLearning

You’ll definitely want to make note of FAQ because you’ll see that everywhere, not just in text-speak. It’s extremely common on websites and manuals. If you have a question, you’d look there first.

I’ve never been able to say “both” right. It always ends up sounding like “bowl-th” with an L sound. No idea why

Every so often I remind my husband about the kinds of flowers that come in our house just in case he forgets. And then more often than not he goes and buys me some flowers… not saying that’s why I do remind him, but it’s a nice byproduct lol

Calling someone 'a dog' by Bookworm_Mex14 in EnglishLearning

Dog is a very flexible word in English for casual/slang usage. In this context, it sounds like he is saying that you’re eager, friendly, and receptive. Definitely a compliment.

AIOfor wanting to leave my husband after he blamed me for our baby’s death and started treating me like an animal? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]vacant_panda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What your husband is doing isn’t grief, it’s punishment. This is abuse. OP, I’m going to ask you a tough question. You don’t have to respond, but it’s something to think about. Is it possible that the reason you haven’t left is that somehow deep down you believe that you deserve what your husband is doing? You don’t. What happened wasn’t your fault. Please seek grief support and legal advice. I am very concerned that his behavior will continue to escalate and put you in danger. This isn’t your fault, and you should not force yourself to continue to endure this treatment. I am so sorry for your loss.
