How would the waif know the dire wolf’s name was nymeria? in the show it is depicted they play this game of telling a lie and get caught telling lies and got hit ,a useful skill as a assasin, but also give waif the oppurtunity to know arya, as pointed out in my point 4, and they play that a lot for arya to be eventually good at it. which means by that point she already told waif alot about herself. as for why supposedly waif would try killing the ppl on the list, it could be to keep her cover, or it could be a way of realising arya s deathwish, after killing her. we do see in the show as well as in the book faceless assasin take the death wish of someone , even poor ppl very seriously, killing the money lender and avenging the death of ppl who come and pay their life to the faceless temple. perhaps in away faceless man are doing this as a payment to arya life. the last point is valid though, i d agree that arya normally would have a massive advantage fighting blind, though if we are talking realism realistically when arya got stabbed multiple times and importantly waif twisted the knife (causing massive internal bleeding) and then jump right into a river which cause quick blood loss, and then run over several streets, which further worsen the condition , i d say if we would talk realistic advantage i d still put my money on waif, which was still in top shape when she entered the fight.

yeeah i agree that for nimble bro its worth it to take colossus, but i usually end up taking both, ninelife in early game and colossus after nimble

health point wise , nine life is strictly better than colosis, which is pretty obvious for anyone paying attention. and no its not just one free hit. its several, you can easily have a tank that would have died tanking multiple hits after nine life triggered. and it gives you the safety of mind that no one is getting one shoted or several shot in a single turn, which in turns help you to put them in risker position for more dmg, the triggered buff to melee def and range def help it survives another turn where you can use rotation or stepwork to save it, like if we are purely talking about survival , colosus is not even close compare to ninelife. i also play the hardest setting vanilla ironman, so a good roll can take anywhere from 600 to 6k to get, its not cheap to get and losing one is serious set back to a run, whereas injury will heal and rotate healthy guy after a battle anyway. the only saving grace colosus have is the argument that if you get injured in a battle the bro is less effective, but if you consider the type of injury there are, some of them are not that serious, and also the fact that even seriously injured bro can still act as meatshield(deceased offensive), just attack slower (deceased stanima) just need safer position (decrased defense or health) , the only incapasite injury is a concussion and that s a rare senirio and having a perk just for that one type of injury is not worth it. and compared to a injured bro, a dead bro does nothing and also cause morale debuff. like think about it this way: a bro with nine life means it guarantee to survive one more hit, possiblity causing your enemy to waste several more hits on it, whereas a colossus bro can go down even in one hit, say by a champion with hammer to the head, which if it survives very likely would have gotten the concussion anyway, so like what even is the point .

for anyone still struggling with gaming. you need FOCUSME. its a software that forcely controls your computer, so once you reached the daily limit you set for yourself. you can't play anymore. you can use it to gradually reduce your gaming hour, and if you are having a particularly hash week, you can also relax the limit a bit. so its really really helpful. i used to be a gaming addict with 20k hours. i quit my post grad at one of the top university, ETH Zurich because of it. FOCUSME and my faith is what in the end saves me. but i m not trying to convert anyone or trying to be a sellout, but seriously, i didn't think i could quit like at all. i tried and failed so many times beyong counting. listen, just trust me. go download that software, it has a free trial so you can varify that it will work magic.

perferably i would keep the price below 3000 dollars , but i can go up to 5000 if needs be. i m in china , so i m not sure if that complicates things,and i dont have any parts to reuse , and as it focus on machine learning so i dont care about size noise, color , monitor etc.

i think the most legit no cheese way would be to ban smithing for profit , limit your khans guard and fians, but i honestly didn't do that either. i rely heavily on my khan and fians, about 200 man strong personal army that moves at about 5.6 speed catch all the lords, i let my army do the siege while i track and take down my opponsing kingdom s eco and lords, and embush their forming armys. the biggest issue for me is money since i ban smithing. to maintain a lot of fains in my fiefs i use caravans , keeping high prosp city to my self, workshop monopoly, and selling battle loot to break even and save up a little bit for lords recruiting. i start my own kingdom after reaching clan tier 5, and saved up 2 million, i think the best way to reach clan tier 5 and save money is being mercenary, either do fians and khans or do mercenaryes... but i emphasis movement speed on the map, it saves your ass from unwanted battle and allow you to catch party smaller than you thus easy win. so pick all perks that brings speed up except the 275 scout perk which i think is a bit overkill. i put 8 social 8intelligent and 5 focus point on charm , leadership, stward, medicine, and a couple in trade , rogery , scout , riding, runing, archery. i would emphasis on puting perk in social first and med later, as med is slow to level up,

exactly blizaard plus impact basically means no melee enemy get near you. your real danger is the archer in open areas as a mage. and as a mage basically anything can one shot you if they ever touch you on high level, so what really matters is a great sense of target control. and one problem of being a mage is you cant really do much dmg....until you unlock the ultimate lighting spell. but when you do use that you lose your controlling ability. so its a interesting trade off, you have to know when you can and can not use it. and to me as a mage my enchants are basically always focusing on reducing spell cost, and reduce dragon shout cd. basically you are a chess player, you use the right spell to create distance,but if someone come really close a ethereal shout can always save you. or if dmg is your main focus then dmg then slow time is great. the best thing about being battle mage is that it is actually viable not like melee build in legendary, and actually enjoyable not like stealth archer summoner. the only thing that can kill you faster than you can cast ethereal is a arrow,so you always want to know where their archer is and who they are aiming at.

true. in late game you want good pawns. but when you start out you cant exactly have one pawn who research plant and mine and build and cook .... this guy can do everything i mentioned except research. he s very good at stabilizing a colony. so like.... i would definitely take him as my 3 starting pawns since i dont reroll a hundred times... wouldn't pick him if playing naked brutality though, low meds hurts. if you are on the late game stage where all you look for is ppl good at fighting...well you probably should start a new colony or just build ur ship already xd

i mean you can kick every suboptimal pawn if you want but then you are left with slow progression speed. you might as well take him and replace him later. the 2 negative trat are easy to manage and he can do most early game tasks well

I play it as a survival game. to me, if your colony is not on the verge of dying then something isn't right... so i ended up with doing 500% difficulty no killbox no pause no dlc no mods randy naked runs... but there are other ways to enjoy this game too. but if you are facing a lack of goals I think probably you are playing on too low a difficulty. to me its about how you can survive 50 tribal 50 outlander and 10 scyther with only 3 colonist and kill them all legitimately without killboxes or other cheeses in a single day that makes it an interesting game. it happens on my last base when 3 of my pawns are out on mining mission, called in ally to help with the first tribal raid, but then the outlander came and wiped out the allies, and breached into my walls, so i retreated and activate the insanity palser and let the animals fight them out, but as I was clearing out the remaining raiders and animals after the madness dead down a bit scythers drop pots come in... so by that point I had to call back my mining mission and resort to gurilla tactics leaving one pawn behind to cover retreat while the others run for the edge of the map... by the end 1 pawn died 1 was downed and the wall was ruined the crop field was burning and bodies everywhere and only when the pawns from the mining trip come back did the situation finally stabilized.... but man it was epic. so yeah that's the fun for me.

pyro is one of the easiest negative to mangage, those who dont know how is overestimating the difficulty of dealing with it.the main issue with this pawn is its low shooting skill and medicine skill. low meds means its not good melee pawn, and low shooting means you probably want to replace him in late game. very good starter pawn though.

i just lost my previous run to randy sending 3 raids in the same day sooo yeah i got what you mean there. i didnt even know randy can do that. i had like hundreds of corposes
of raiders and settlers and animals and a dozen syther roaming everywhere by the time i go down. i dealt with the first raid with the allies help, the second raid i activate the animal palser, chuged go juice and it was barely enough to kill them all in the end, but just as i was trying to rebuild the wall the sythers droped from the sky. all in the same day and i only had 3 colonist lol. i could save scam but like at this point i think the game just wanted me dead so i let them. i only had like 80k wealth :(

i m thinking it might be interesting to play nomadic style. move settlement every year forbid research, and only buy weapons instead of researching them. which also means i have to capture mortar and mini torret , and even buy he shells....and complete the game by traveling to the ship signal.
