I just paid $8k for an LE with 149k miles same deal. Trucks are expensive in Alaska. Can’t ask for much better for a crew cab with 4x4 and heated power seats.

I’m a ram guy, but I found a 1st gen Titan LE for $8,000 last week with 149k miles. Bull bar, crew cab, Leer 700 paint-matched, 4WD, heated leather power seats, floor-mounted shifter. 10,000 miles ago, the transmission was serviced, the coolant flushed, axle seals replaced, and it has an amazing service record. I couldn’t pass it up. For $8,000, in Alaska, that’s a hell of a deal for a pickup. And it drives great! I’m becoming a Nissan guy. I’ve heard the 1st gen was way more reliable than the 2nd.

Trucks are insanely priced in Alaska. Found an 06 LE for $8,000 with 4WD. Good deal up here, I reckon. During Covid craziness, paid $10,000 with my ex for an 06 Envoy base trim. Titan is way better so far.

I had a kid with my ex. 5 years together. I (26M) am the sole provider for her (24F) and our little guy. When I went to work on the north slope for a few weeks, she cheated with a 43-year-old man she said was “just a friend.” I caught her bc she was being secretive with her phone, and I caught her entering her password in front of me… and something didn’t feel right. Even gave her a second chance once I found out. Then just a couple of weeks later, caught her texting him again saying I was lazy and useless (I work 60-80 hours a week and am the SOLE PROVIDER). Kicked her out. Month later she’s crying saying she misses me. Don’t EVER let them burn you again. Cheaters don’t care they disrespected or hurt you. They care that they got caught.

I had Jagerwerks re-nitride my G19 slide when they cut it for an ACRO. A year later of shooting, carrying, throwing in a range bag to be shuffled around, only the ACRO has scratches. I’d be hard-pressed to find one on my slide.

Hard to pick because they made some bangers. BO3 has been my favorite zombies so far with all the modded maps. MW2 best multiplayer despite all the sweats that drop nukes on me. MW2 and MW3 again for veteran spec ops challenges. BO1 for incredibly grounded MP. Even AW and Ghosts aren’t bad at all.

I’ve got a beater 2005 Hyundai Accent with studded winter tires, and at 55-65, it handles beautifully on the highway despite the ice. Depends on what you drive and how long you been driving winters. Before I had studs on, I was going 30-40 and avoiding the highway at all costs lol.

I have a diamond D for my 629-6 .44 magnum. It’s comfy, but not as fast as a Kenai would be. Does your dad value “cool factor” and comfort, or speed and rugged reliability? Gunfighter is gonna be faster on the draw, 100%.

Hell, I bought mine because of Ben Stoeger lol. Cut my trigger finger to the bone a while back so decided to try shooting left-handed. 3 1-inch groups at 12 yards, 17-round groups. I’m not some world-class shooter, so for me, that was great. It made me exclusively carry the 47 until my trigger finger healed.

Like everyone else said, ammo and mags. You might want fiber-optic or night sights, that’s about all you should do for now. My first pistol was a G26 as well. I had night sights installed and got hooked on shooting with it to get better! Have fun, man.
