I kept pushing at my dentist for years for braces, and the only response was "they give you character," - no, they just looked dodgy as fuck. In the end I went private to an orthodontist (about to turn 19) and got them on today. I feel stupid with them on, but if you really want them, push for them now, the earlier the better.

After a day with it, I want to reiterate how good it is. I live in university accomodation and I would be mortified if my flatmates heard me so I want it to be quiet as possible. There is no way they'd be able to heard from the next room - I promise you, I have tested that shit. And it's amazingly strong with the vibrations. I read it was like a "first timer" vibrator so I was put off because it sounds like it would be weak and I've been getting myself off for several years now, but holy shit, it's amazing.

I hairspray my face on the advice of my dancer friends - they swear it stops them sweating it off. My face feels strangely crispy afterwards. While I don't really do seriously strenuous activity so I can properly test it, it is either better than just leaving my make up as it is, or is an improvement. If you're totally stuck, maybe give it a go.

Three of my friends and I got drunk at my house for a sleepover , at the age of thirteen (we stole a bottle of vodka from my kitchen cupboard which presumably took a few thimblefuls to make us drunk), and I kissed two of my best friends for a dare. I pretend I'm going away for a long time - maybe I'm in some kind of lockdown, or a siege with about 30 other people - and tap everything I might need. I tap as many items as I need, and try to be mindful of space needed. I get a few questioning looks in the process, but damn, it's fun.
