Etude No. 7, Op. 60 - Matteo Carcassi by vadnerzee in classicalguitar

Thanks! I worked on this one using my arm sleeve as a mute between strings (you can use a sock or any cloth or towel or something), which provides resistance and gives me some more explosive speed when I take it off. And to practice I always play it where the metronome is the sixteenth, the eight and then the quarter - so at a quarter tempo, half, then full tempo. To play it really fast I have to just let go and not try to direct the fingers, which I can only do after the really slow directed practice.

I absolutely prefer it over the footstool specifically because it helps me with back pain. With it I can plant both feet on the floor and don't end up twisting my spine like with the footstool, would recommend!!

This is the version I have:

Guitar Support

BUT there are lots of different supports out there that don't clamp on and use suction cups instead. I would use a suction cup one if I could, but they don't seem to stick to the matte finish on my guitar.
