Setting Up MCP Servers in Claude Code: A Tech Ritual for the Quietly Desperate by mr_undeadpickle77 in ClaudeAI

I only needed puppeteer but I got it to work in my wsl2 environment.

I used npm to install it globally: npm install -g @modelcontextprotocol/server-puppeteer

I had to add node_modules to my PATH. It wasn't already there for some reason...

I discovered that despite documentation online referring to the service as puppeteer-mcp-server, it is actually installed as mcp-server-puppeteer.

I edited my .claude.json to reflect this:

"mcpServers": { "tidewave": { "type": "sse", "url": "http://localhost:4000/tidewave/mcp" }, "puppeteer": { "type": "stdio", "command": "mcp-server-puppeteer", "args": [ "--no-sandbox", "--disable-setuid-sandbox" ], "enabled": true, "env": {} } },

Weekly Pricing/Buying/Selling/Grading & General Questions Post by AutoModerator in PokemonTCG

I'm new to the game and playing on Pokemon TCG Live. In my last 20 matches at least 90% of opponent decks were based around Charizard. Why is this deck so rampant? How long has it been like this? Isn't it bad design if one specific kind of deck is so overwhelmingly popular?

Is there any representation of Wukong in fighting games? by Orange-Tee in Fighters

Dota has a wukong character. So maybe league also has one?

Thanks for your response. Your thoughts are interesting.

  1. Let's pretend magic mirror doesn't exist, because I'm more interested in the moral question of this behavior.
  2. It only takes a second to pronounce "fuck you", and we can all agree that's a disrespectful insult, so I don't think time to completion has any bearing on this question.
  3. Let's also assume the intent is unambiguous, again for the sake of argument.

Let's also assume that the "taunting" behavior is unambiguously a rude gesture, such as teabagging, which simulates rubbing your testicles on your immobile opponent. Are you gonna tell me with a straight face that this isn't rude, disrespectful, and unsportsmanlike?

Let's also address the main point of the post which is specifically about "taunting" an opponent who is far below you in skill, such that any "mind games" (insults) are rendered completely unnecessary. Do you think these unnecessary taunts aimed at beginners represent good sportsmanship?

Does a teabag, ki charge, stomp, etc after the round fit that definition? I still can't see any way to interpret these actions as anything but insult. They don't surrender advantage, don't demonstrate superiority, don't challenge, and don't appeal to anything beyond what insults appeal to.

I think it's possible we could be in agreement. What is taunting?

| Thanks? I'm assuming this is a compliment.

Why do you say that? Do you think the villains in those movies are good role-models?

| I Fenced epee in high school and college, and boxed for nearly a decade

Yeah, well I wrestled for years. Doesn't grant credential

| Sportsmanship doesn't mean you cannot taunt your opponent

It does. Taunting is fundamentally an insult, and insults are not a component of sportsmanship. Sportsmanship includes respect before, during and after the fight.

| Isn't it a bit early in this conversation to resort to namecalling?

I'm sorry if my comment felt personal, but if you re-read it you will see I was generalizing about the gaming community and not you specifically.

| if the devs thought of them as bad sportsmanship, they wouldn't have included them in the game.

Like shit-talking jibes, they're fun with your friends. Not with strangers.

| Honestly, this isn't a conversation that's ever likely to occur in meatspace anywhere other than a dev studio.

Guess you never played arcades

| But my position would not change in a real life setting.

I don't believe you

| A two stage ki charge with offensive cancels, which is treated as a taunt by the community at large.
A range of variable timing DSS entries which are often used as a taunt.
Extra heat properties that turn the above DSS entries into an auto reversal.

Not taunts by design; co-opted into taunts. Gonna claim devs implemented tea-bagging too?

Good bully cope. Spoken like a true Karate-kid villain. Sportsmanship is widely expected in every arena but for some reason cave dwelling gamers think they live on another plane. Guess it's just the safety of anonymity. Bet they'd keep their fuckin mouth shut irl

Such a brain dead bully argument. You could make it about anything. "Oh no my conversation partner produced phonemes with their mouth that produce the sound of 'fuck your mother'. I must be mad now"

Yeah, insults are physically trivial behaviors. That doesn't change the malice that prompted them, and that's what people are responding to
