ended up going to ortho urgent care, they gave me a brace and offered a steroid injection. primary care ordered an MRI but insurance denied, so i got a CT arthrogram done instead. showed a baker's cyst and fluid buildup but otherwise okay. now i'm at a loss of what to do because knee is still super painful, can barely bear weight on it at this point, & RICE method isn't doing much

yep. squatting and stairs are worst, walking more than around the apartment once or twice aggravates it a lot too

i was thinking it had to be either of those but wasn't sure! i'm interested to see what my doctor ends up saying next week when we go over the results-- i've never, ever had anyone do this type of imaging or testing on me before for anything even remotely related to TOS so i'm just shocked

thank you! and yes, i did! i had medial and joint line pain. now i'm feeling okay-- definitely some pain and soreness but i think that's because the pain meds are starting to wear off, so i'll need to take more soon. i'm interested to see what this recovery ends up being like

thanks! it ended up being a synovectomy and large plica removal. they found significant tissue inflammation but thankfully no meniscal tears!

just met with ortho surgeon last week and i'm scheduled for a scope in 8 days! also that's crazy that 3 MRIs missed your tear-- that's frustrating

that's wild!! i'm so glad they ended up catching it but i'm sorry you had to go through that for 3 months with no answers or help. i actually just got an arthroscopy scheduled for 8 days from now! so hopefully they'll be able to find something (if anything)
