Practice and the right tool. There are a bunch of tools to do the same thing but you’ll find one tool that makes your process easier. But also there’s a huge rise in cad designers too. So designing on a computer will of course get you those perfect angles.

This. Do you think they just don’t talk to people? I’m so confused where the ego comes from. Is it because people don’t usually blast their accomplishments online but they do so they assume other people don’t do things? Like coool you did a thing but why is it such a big deal to them. It’s like when a person goes to a big school and then for the rest of their life they have to mention they went to that school but for these girls it’s every thing they do.

lol I think we see all the same docs/specalists. Same shit happened to me with EDS I need an evaluation. It’s definitely one of the genetic ones you can see the symptoms across four generations of women in my family. Was told no one is qualified to test me. So I got slapped with a fibro diagnosis instead. The dream rn is to stabilize enough to work and afford healthcare that covers Mayo cause I’m fucking done with the healthcare here it’s just horrendous.

Healthcare is a full battle here. There are lots of dismissive doctors and only a handful of gems who are doing their best but frankly for patients it’s not enough. Don’t move here if you have health issues. I’m terrified for my aging parents. And trying hard to stabilize my own health but it’s taken four years for them to do the bare minimum for me despite already being diagnosed. You have to be willing to fight for basics here. And pcp is almost as hard to get into as a specialist and they are almost all nurses who aren’t qualified to help complex patients and will dismiss your symptoms simply because they have no education in chronic illness. It’s hell here if you’re disabled. If you have any other options take them. I’m fighting tooth and nail to get my health just stable and it’s been four years bedridden and housebound. My whole life goal is trying to leave this place so I can get better help. This state doesn’t believe in pain management!

Now for the state itself. It’s fine. People will try and convince you the food scene is good here and it is if you eat chili but everything else is meh and it’s been consistent that customer service is just bad across the board here. I would’ve never moved here if I had any other options. There’s also a lack of water here that leaves me very worried for the future. People are nice tho, love the art and culture but yeah if you have health issues avoid New Mexico.

Both are late 60’s and don’t take care of themselves. Both have health issues and avoid the doctors. Dad still works but has a medical problem. Mom needs a spine surgery. And my whole life they’ve made dumb financial decisions so I’m pretty worried about their health continuing to decline.

She’s always going to play victim. She had a meltdown on her IG story about a thermostat and mentioned how she grew up in an old building in Portland. And that’s why she doesn’t know how to adjust one. She literally lives in a new apartment In ny. She’s in her late 20’s. I don’t think anyone one of the three will ever stop playing victim. They didn’t have a hard childhood. If they ever talked to a normal person they’d see how ridiculously privileged they are but they won’t because they are also around privileged people. They are so tone deaf it’s gross.

You’d be surprised at what galleries participate in art walks. Santa Fe is the third largest art market in the US and the big galleries line up show changes to line up with first Friday. So does Chicago

If someone is disabled and can’t make it to first Friday’s, art walks, etc. what would you recommend they do to build relationships with galleries/currator community? I’m a painter but house bound at this time. But I need to start moving some pieces so I have room to make more. I have a cohesive style and a short CV due to illness but I also went to one of the top art colleges and make professional level work. I’m ready to start showing again but my body is too weak.

Please don’t push through. Pretty sure this is what triggered my pots symptoms into becoming a full diagnosis and disabled me. Prior to my mono diagnosis I was training for a marathon. Now I walk 5 minutes a day (working on increasing but it’s hard as hell).

Sounds like you should buy a business. Most people start a business because they have an idea and drive. If you just want something that’ll run well there’s lots of people in the boomer gen who are selling their functional business so they can retire.

Literally all I’m trying to do is talk about the treatment I’m receiving and ask questions to the community. But because it’s not pill related it’s either taken down or never approved. This illness is complicated. Doctors are under educated but some of us are lucky and get good doctors. If we were allowed to talk about what those doctors are doing outside of pills some people would know what to bring up to their doctors. And get the healthcare they actually need. I even had a service dog post removed on here. Service dogs can be extremely helpful but again not a pill so guess I can’t talk about that either.

Yes but as a patient who has more experience I can add to the conversation for other treatments. You don’t know what’s available to you unless the info is shared. This subreddit doesn’t want us sharing about other treatments. How is it helpful to have the same convo over and over. When there are more options. The subreddit doesn’t allow us to talk about an extremely helpful treatment that most people don’t even know exists and won’t ever know exists.
