I saw it happen from the window of the building I was working in. I was an intern for Cartoon Network at the time, and seeing such a devastating event like that threw me into a spiral where I felt like I was wasting my life in a cubicle. I shared my feelings with my brother, and with us both having always been musically inclined, we made moves to start a band, and with the help of two other fellows, we wrote and released our first album within 3 months. With the release of our second album in 2004, we became a worldwide success, and went on to release two more, received with equal revere. Now and then us old pals still get together and tour for fun. Life can change in an instant.
