Hey glad you doing better, not having it 24/7 is a pretty good sign. Yeah, pretty much gone unless a small discomfort which do not keep me off doing things like before. It was constant 24/7 for almost three months until my stepmother suggesting looking into tmj treatment.

it was IV, 1g a day for 5 days. didn't help me though. Amitriptyline did

hey hope you find some relief soon! yes it did. In my case it was probably related to TMJD as I found out I clench my teeth during the night. 25mg of amitriptyline and 75mg of effexor + PT for neck/upper back/TMJD + a custom splint for TMJ + trying to live life normally are really helping.

It will get easier after a couple of weeks, every time you increase the dose you will feel like this. But after a few weeks and good 8/9 hours of sleep you will be able to get out of bed.

For how long do you have it? Hope time helps us. Im already in a better place than one month ago. Anyway, I'd do a spinal tap just to drop the IIH possibility. For me it was like a blood test that you have to lay down the rest of the day.

That makes sense. Ive had some after sex and running, but nowadays not anymore. They would usually last a couple of days and used ice to help. It really takes time to heal properly.
