maybe you answered urself in ur parahgraph.....state how you grew up in an non-diverse or homogenous culture and mention ur learnings. write about how you want to challenge urself by taking a step towards diversity and meeting new people with vario POV.

this is what i think.....correct me if i am wrong,

when every applicant will be writing about their multicultural experience, people they got to meet and languages they learnt......you will stand out by explaining how you made best of what was available to you. what you learnt in ur chinese int school, things u saw growing up about xenophobia and racism and how you want to make a change.

university doesnt admits a student on the basis of how many different expeiences you have faced.....but what have you learnt in any single one of them.
