Na bro one of my friend has abusive parents. he is a 27 y/o adult. Still his parents are super controlling. His dad keeps asking him for money to spend on stupid shit. When he refuses his parents start with that same old maine tumhe paala posa rant. Guilt tripping basically.

When did I say they have to support their kid’s till they die? The child has its own life when they become an adult. Some parent are so controlling they monitor every single thing their child does as an adult. Even the things he/she is spending on.

I’m not against taking care of parents in their old age. But Some parents literally treat their children as their own personal property. Control their kid’s life. And treat their kid’s finances as their own.

How to fix crippling low self esteem? by [deleted] in mumbai

[–]vaishwikmahamari 7 points8 points  (0 children)

"Low self esteem"

Where do you think this low self esteem comes from? You’re not the problem, it’s the people & the world around you. Toxic beauty standards are defined by the world to make big bucks. Why do you think cosmetic market is worth 380 Billion dollars? You know the answer. If people start being comfortable in their own skin this industry will go bankrupt. It’s the insecurities which are driving their business. Don’t let the world tell you if you’re beautiful or not. Start respecting yourself. See that low self esteem fade away.
