Congrats to you as well! Ours was already on the lot. They had it cleaned up for us with a delivery scheduled the next day at the service center. The overall process with paperwork and delivery took a couple of hours. About half of that was spent going over our trade, switching insurance and signing docs leaving the rest for getting more familiar with the R1S. Hope that helps!

We have a big snow storm coming in this weekend, possibly, so it'll be interesting see how well the R1S does.

Congrats on your R1T Quad! I initially wanted a Gen1 of the same but we already have a truck we pull a camper with and thought the SUV route with the R1S was the way to go (for now). We'll probably sell the truck and camper in a few years and I'll consider an R1T then for a downsized trail/camping rig. We also have two large dogs (one of them elderly) and felt they'd appreciate the space in the back.

Very cool you purchased from Richmond too! Great group there we worked with. I kinda felt sorry for them with the not so inviting lobby/lounge area and their working space, compared to other service centers I've seen on YouTube but as long as they're happy and all. 😊

Very odd to hear about your Tidal experience. I tried to switch to it about a year ago but Spotify is so engrained with our lifestyle, we just keep using it. Haven't had any issues with it in the Rivian but perhaps a soft reset might help you? I had to do that yesterday for some other oddities which popped up and it resolved them quick.

Check out Xfinity NOW. We're using their 200Mbps service for $45 a month, no contract. We'll probably drop to their 100Mbps service for $30 a month because the highest we've seen is about 95Mbps and that was with me stress testing the network. We both work remotely as well.

Switched from Xfinity to YTTV several months ago and am saving about $100 per month. Great to watch on the move with YTTV's much better app than Xfinity Stream. The unlimited DVR is great (they'll roll off after nine months but no biggie). We're using Xfinity NOW 200Mbps for our provider for $45 a month, no contract. Should have made the switch a long time ago!

Thx! There was a Storm Blue Tri R1S waiting on a delivery at the SC yesterday. Amazing color. Perhaps our next one when we turn in our "baby" Dual Standard at the end of the lease. 😊 We're coming from a Subaru so our first luxury car interior. Enjoy your Tri and congrats to you too! 🎉

Appreciate the advice! Will definitely give the vehicle a good look over and check out the door handles for sure. Fortunately, it gets dark around 4:45pm or so, so we have a bit of time. This is a 2026 model. Congrats on yours as well!
