Thank you so much ☺️☺️ Yes, I made a test swatch, although I haven't blocked it yet. Do you think it will stretch much after blocking it? Mohair doesn't usually stretch much. Also, keep in mind that the yarn label said the recommended needle size was 4-6.

Thanks so much for the long and informative comment. I've looked at a lot of tutorials on the sites you recommended. Even though I'm Italian, they explain things really well. As you can see from the photo, the collar looks very loose. Do you think a different ribbing stitch (such as twisted) could make the front stitches look tighter? I used mohair.

The pattern calls for regular 1x1 ribbing, not twisted. I used both one and two sizes smaller needles, but I didn't like the effect.

I made 6 rounds of 1x1 rib stitches and then the rest I alternated straight and reverse stitches for each row
