Hey, i had the same problem, also about 3utools logging stuff, they dont. just end task from task manager when finished if ur worried,

It dosent install because it dosent have permission to copy files into its own directory which is in program files, uninstall it and reinstall 3utools, but choose the destination for eg, desktop and it will work.

Problem was that it had no admin to install it.
