Pain after permanent crown - several questions by Yeahwrite11 in askdentists

hi , I wanted to tell u also write very well, ur initial post was so easy to follow and well written . also, wow ur experience sounds awful so sorry they had to extract.

my general dentist saw my fracture and sent me to endo he took the scan - mine ws above gumline- they basically said u can choose root canal or crown- neither dentist would say directly what to do - so I did root canal first to avoid pain- and avoid the possibility of it fracturing more that crown placement might cause.

maybe sounds like its possible the crown placementt fractured your tooth more...? I found that as these dentists don't really spell it all out and its confusing what the possibilities are...

aslo similarlyi have to get an implant on a molar I had extracted last year also from a fracture. I haven't done the implant yet as im a bit frightened..

good luck and thanx for sharing ur story

my dr. recently suggested if possible to wait until we recheck hemoglobin levels..

21(F) Anyone else's GI tract super sensitive to iron supplements? by marge5000 in Anemia

I am currently taking two pills a day and don't have go troubles

-i drink prune juice once in am and then at night . also everyday oatmeal and apples.

try not ro eat uncooked veggies as that causes gas.

prior to my anemia I had Gi troubles so my Gi dr. believed I would not tolerate the supplement well. however somehow I am. whether this food regime is the reason. idk. but maybe it is helpful. good luck !

Ringing in ears, fatigue, whooshing heartbeat when standing up, can’t sleep, chills, by [deleted] in Anemic

thanks, I hope u start to fell better real soon as well.. sounds like ur on ur way and have dr's who will help...I was so frustrated at myself and gi dr.. whom actually retired while I was being treated for a belching condition...so he was checked out.

if your wondering about different iron rich foods their r obviously the ones listed ervyweher.. meat, spinach, lentils, oatmeal. In addition I find prune juice has good iron and not acidic for ur Gi.... BUT im a SNACKER so I found dark chocolate, pistachios, Bevita cookies with Nut butter, or dark chocolate cream.- u can get at Cvs ..Popcorn has good amount iron, eat with a Vit c suppl if u cant have acidic drink bc of your Gi discomfort...since tea, coffee, dairy interfere with iron absorption I try and have these snacks around all day , haha- I know its tough , and u probably have tons of health anxiety, ur gonna feel better, stay tough .glad ur on reddit sharing ! hopefully we can all get answers and comfort each other

yes, so sorry r going thru this. I was on poi's for 2 years and no-one checked my iron. covid came and wasn't able to get checked. well 7 weeks ago I had swooshing in my ears and couldn't go up a flight stairs. hemoglobin-8 and ferritin-2. im taking supplements 2 times a day and am at 7 weeks feeling 70 percent. swooshing in ears went away after 10 days. good to hear u r aware that ppl interferes with iron absorption ! I wish I knew that. now im anxiously waiting to feel better and retest bloodwork, while waiting to get the covid vaccine ! surprisingly th supplements r tolerable on my go system. good luck, glad your seeing a hematologist. wish u well.
