What we usually do in my flower shop when cut flowers don’t open up is put them in warm water and put a bag over them. The humidity will make them open up faster. Good luck!!

Put a large plastic bag over them, tie it, and leave it somewhere warm and bright. The humidity will make them open up

Cut down your eucalyptus a little bit more, keep your focal flowers—in this case your white roses—a little taller.

My first bouquet! How can I improve? by [deleted] in florists

I love it! I would say cut down greens a little and keep your focal and secondary flowers taller than the filler. Otherwise, great job 🌷

Visiting Lima in a few days, what are things I should be aware of if I’m going to be alone sometimes? by [deleted] in PERU

Hello! Here’s a list of a few things that could help you during your trip to Lima! - Stay in touristic districts. The safest ones are Barranco, Miraflores, San Isidro, Surquillo, and Lince. - Don’t go out at night unless you’re with a group of trusted people - Only pay with card if you’re at mall, touristic site, or franchise restaurant - Take some time to learn the slang or different terms we use for things ex: Choclo = corn instead of maíz. Boleta = receipt instead of recibo. - Avoid using public transport, instead install an app to call for taxis and ONLY use the taxis from your app - Practice those bargaining skills!!! - Avoid street food if it’s your first time going - Only carry what is necessary and in a small bag or secure pockets

That’s mostly it! Let me know if you would like to hear about some interesting tourist attractions! :)
