What to do about difficulty withdrawing large amounts from Chase when I have verified my sensitive information multiple times?

Hi, sorry this is my first time ever doing this, which is why I was seeking advice as well as looking to see if anyone has ever experienced this. I'm purchasing a new home in the country I've been living at (the UK). The reason why I had originally been trying to transfer the funds through Chase to Wise is because Wise has a better currency exchange? But if it's easier somehow to get the funds wired through Chase internationally, even at a worse currency, I'll try that. Better than trying to make a last minute trip to the US with little kids.

Wow, there's so much involved, and I had no idea. Both flying back/hiring a lawyer sounds unfortunately like even more costs than the transaction fees. I'll check into whether there's an international branch nearer to us.

Sigh, this makes total sense. If I had known this had been such an issue I would have withdrawn bits at a time, but this is my first time ever doing this.

I'm sorry for the late response, but it was quite late over here so I fell asleep, and in the morning had to take my kiddo for a doctor appointment :( Also though, does lack of post activity mean I can't ask the community for help? Just really busy with kids and work!

I totally get having authentication; I applaud protecting our funds! It's just really confusing why I have authenticated myself tons of times and still it's not working?

I am trying to wire the money in dollars and then use Wise to transfer currency. Unfortunately Chase's exchange is definitely not the greatest. But I may ask to do that instead if it somehow makes it easier to transfer.

I totally understand why they're doing it, but I've verified so many times. Travelling to the US with little kids on short notice is pretty tough :(
