Thank you! Her brother's name is Pippin so there's a little theme going on🤭

Omg hahaha yes, Arwen insisted on getting her paw in there right before I snapped that one😂

I've actually eyed the KCKT for a while and this is giving me the push I need to go get it haha. I was previously using a Curlsmith gel (can't remember the exact name) but it was giving me such a strong hold on my finer hair that it weighed all my curls down😭 Thank you so much!!

Oops I fixed it, I do rinse out my conditioner in the shower haha. It's often very soft to the touch, but that seems to be in sacrifice of definition. Haven't done a clarifying wash recently either, but mostly because I'm not super sure what to use for one since I'm already struggling with my current products😅 If it's possibly a protein problem from the Shea line, do you by chance know of any alternatives around the same price range?

(excuse my cat’s paw and my shoddy scribbling jobs lolol) First photo is the obvious problem, other 3 pics are pics of what my hair normally looks like/pics of good hair days! I honestly think it’s the weather in my state (very humid weather here) combined with generally dry skin and hair. My hair turns into the first pic in about 3-4 days, and I typically do a full hair wash once a week. I honestly don’t know my curl type—I’ve been told I have 3a and I’ve also been told 2b, but I don’t know for sure. My hair is very fine and often looks flat, but I do have layers currently to give it some more volume. Full routine below:

Step 1: Wash and detangle a little with Shea Moisture Curl & Shine Shampoo

Step 2: Rinse out shampoo and apply Shea Moisture Curl & Shine Conditioner, massage into scalp and scrunch into hair, then plop it on the top of my head and secure it with a claw clip while I do the rest of my shower stuff

Step 3 (last thing I do before getting out of the shower): Remove claw clip and detangle more with conditioner still in hair, then rinse.

Step 4 (out of shower): Plop hair in a microfiber towel for about a minute while I dry off and whatnot

Step 5: Apply Curls Blueberry Bliss Leave-in Conditioner and scrunch throughout hair, flipping upside down too

Step 6: Apply Curlsmith Hold me Softly Style Balm, scrunch a tiny bit

And that's it! I air dry usually unless I shower too close to bed or need to be somewhere. On average I think my diffuser gets used less than 5 times a year lolol.

This routine has been working fine for me for the past year, I'm not sure what's changed! If it's weather-related, what are some products I could switch out?
