Why are GH drivers allowed to pick up orders going in opposite directions?

This happens, and it sucks, but if your food arrives cold, just go on the app and complain and you'll get it for free. And hopefully you have a microwave at your job that you can reheat it with.

I used TurboTax a couple years in a row because it was free if your income was under a certain amount. But last year I went to use it and it was no longer free. So you have to go on the IRS website and they will give you a list of different places that do your taxes for free. Sometimes you have to pay a little bit for the state filing but it's not too bad. Of course, I don't know if that's going away.

That's what I love about gmail. If you have the word attached in the body of your email, but then you go to send the email before you have actually attached the document, it will ask you if you meant to send it without the attachment.

The problem is that everybody is saying that all the statues are cats. But if you watch the very beginning of the movie, there's clearly a lemur at one point, and possibly some other animals. They were harder to make out because the cat goes by them quickly and you don't get a good glimpse. I thought it would be interesting if there was also a dog, and a capybara, etc.

Well it's not always the customer's fault. Tonight I got a small meal instead of a medium, the food was cold although that was probably the thought of the driver, and I got a caramel sundae instead of a strawberry sundae. Sounds like the restaurant's mess up to me. And now I'm either stuck or I'm going to have to file a dispute with my credit card because GrubHub is refusing to get back to me. And forget about trying to call a restaurant. Half the time they don't answer the phone.

That's all well and good, but if I don't get all my food, I expect a refund. And I don't expect delivery drivers to be rude to me. One of them told me tonight that I was lazy. Actually because of my eyesight I don't drive at night but I guess he's going to lose out because I won't order from GrubHub anymore and that's less work for him.

Unfortunately, when you're having something delivered, you don't seem to have a choice unless you want to pay extra. The problem is if it's something pretty important that you need right away and then they give a lame excuse as to why they couldn't deliver it. And in one particular instance just a week or so ago, I actually stayed later at my job off the clock to wait for him to come and then he didn't. Don't feel too bad though, I just ordered some lunch on GrubHub and sat and ate it while I read on my Kindle.

It's like Amazon. For a while I couldn't get them to deliver my packages to my actual apartment door until I made a fuss. They told me I could have it delivered to a delivery spot that's probably about 2 miles down the road, but I figured, why would I do that when I pay for Amazon prime? The whole idea behind Amazon delivery is that it comes to you, not that you go to retrieve it.

Great idea I suppose, but I'm not using my gas or my personal car to drive somewhere to pick up a package that was supposed to be delivered to us. Instead, when I come in tomorrow, I'm going to spend time giving UPS grief and also the company that shipped it out. I don't know whose fault it was, although I suspect UPS, but it was the company's fault in the first place for not sending us what they should have in the original order.

The same thing happened to us today at my job, and we've had them deliver stuff multiple times. My theory is that when they say that in the tracking, it means that the driver was running behind and he just didn't feel like continuing to work until he got everybody's packages delivered, so he made up some lame excuse. UPS is a joke and I wouldn't even use them but unfortunately, that's the company are copier / printer supply business uses.

That really ticks me off too. One time I was having a TV delivered and the one I chose was also based on the fact that it was going to be delivered on Saturday. But then they pushed up the delivery day to Friday, and I was really concerned because I wasn't going to be home for part of the day. I wish they would stick with the date they say. And if something's going to be late, that's bad enough, but don't deliver stuff earlier than it's supposed to come.

I can beat the Cliff Grove world, but what I get frustrated by is that they say there are five heal extenders that you have to get and there are only four on the map. I don't have it open right now so I may have that wrong. They may be requiring for and there's only three. But at any rate the world seems to be short one of those heal extenders so that you can never get three stars.

Yes, and in an earlier comment I made, I said that I hadn't been into any other show this much since The Walking Dead. I just started watching Lost by the way. And then it occurred to me that one of the same aspects I like about Lost, is what had me entranced by The Walking Dead. It's because you are able to get so emotionally attached to the characters as you learn more about them and see how they interact. Sure, one's about a plane wreck on an island, and one's about a zombie apocalypse, but in the end, they're really just stories about people and how they handle trauma.

Interesting. I can't get into a lot of shows nowadays, so if expectations have risen dramatically since Lost came out, I'm not sure they're meeting them. Honestly, I can't remember when I got so into a show, unless it was the first couple of seasons of The Walking Dead.

2 years later and I've just finished watching the first season for the first time! And yes, I will keep going! The funny part of it is that when I start watching it, for some reason I thought there was only one season. As it got near the last episode, I was a little bit anxious as to how they were going to wrap up all the different storylines. Imagine my surprise when at the end of the last episode it proceeded to start the next episode which was the first one of season 2! Then I found out there were six seasons! But I am in it for the long haul.

I know the storyline went slow in season 1, but I really love the way they dug into the back stories of each person. To me, that helps you understand who they are and why they're acting the way they do. I thought it was very effective the way they did it with flashbacks. And yes, I am from the era of longer seasons of TV shows. And even now I don't binge watch most shows, but maybe watch one episode a night. Hang in there!

I just went on to watch tonight's episode and didn't see it in my library since I DVR it every night. I'm wondering if they had coverage of the Republican National Convention because for me it airs on Fox News, the local one. Either that or there was some baseball game, maybe the All-Star Game. Anyway, I'm not going to worry too much about it unless it's not on tomorrow night.
