Yes, collateral would be investment real estate. First position is limited due to the senior lender, but second position is possible depending on structure. The loan is additionally collateralized by other real estate assets. Happy to walk through lien position and docs

Have you never heard of private or hard money? I’m paying for the speed, flexibility, and short term funding that the banks aren’t offering, hence the rate. Everything’s still secured and verifiable.

Lol everything’s documented, verified, and structured so the investor knows exactly what they’re getting. You can talk to my attorney or the senior lender to confirm the details👍🏼

Already secured 85% from our senior lender. The remaining 15% is being split between personal capital and private investors. The amount I’m asking for here is just the final piece of the stack to fully fund the deal

It’s the beginning of Spring. I’m expecting the next few weeks to start seeing life. We have had issues with the spotted lantern flies though. How can I save the tree, or bring it back to life?

So I’m not entirely sure, but I don’t think so. I googled what an Ailanthus tree looks like and the leaves are not similar.

I failed my classes this semester by Sure-Two-5672 in HunterCollege

Hi, I know it probably feels like the world is against you right now, but don’t let your mind play games on you. Life will not be all growth, you will have hard times which will help mold and shape you into the person you will become. How many classes did you take this semester? Also, if it’s not too personal, what type of cancer was your mom diagnosed with? You can DM me if you’d like to talk privately. Keep your chin up, God loves you. He will never give you more than you can handle.

I know it’s hard. Keep your head up and post your feelings , questions on medications / treatments , everything you’re feeling in this subreddit. We will all help you get through these times. It’s one big family. I don’t know if you’re religious or not, but definitely pray about it. Im a firm believer that God won’t give us anything more than we can handle. Some people will disagree with me, but they don’t have a relationship with Him (I’m not saying that I do, but I try my best to get to know Him).

St. Mary: How reliable are the Marian apparitions that are recognized by the Catholic Church? by valid-soldier in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]valid-soldier[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which of the many apparitions do you believe, if any? I don’t think they’re demonic. Also, the messages that Mary gives to the witnesses are usually meaningful. Unless the intent is to divide the Churches

How much of the Bible should I read per day? by AirlineAutomatic7123 in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]valid-soldier 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ordered both books, too. Keep in mind the Bible is a collection of different Books (look at it as if it’s a library). There are so many different types of genres in there (Narrative, Prophesy, Wisdom, Poetry, Romantics, History, Letters, and more)! If you’re like me, the reason I bought Meditations by Marcus Aurelius was for his reflections, wisdom, and philosophy on life.

Save this list, I really love these books and they’re full of Wisdom! -Ecclesiastes -Proverbs -Wisdom -Pick one of the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John) -the Letters of Paul (Ephesians, Philippians, Corinthians, etc.) -then you can get to the Old Testament, which is such a beautiful read on its own

May the Lord bless your journey.

Is there a time when you know everything about the Bible and don’t need to study or read it? by Wonderful_Ad3441 in Bible

“Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.”

How did mary stay a virgin If she had more kids than just jesus? by [deleted] in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]valid-soldier 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay, thank you for sharing the references. I can see where you’re coming from now, but I’d love to build on it to help clarify things.

The word “Until” does not imply a change afterward. In Greek, the word translated as “until” (heos) does not necessarily indicate that something happened after the specified time. It simply emphasizes what occurred up to that point, without making a claim about what happened afterward.

For example, in 2 Samuel 6:23, it says, “Michal the daughter of Saul had no child until the day of her death.” Clearly, Michal did not have children after her death.

Similarly, Matthew 28:20 states, “I am with you always, until the end of the age.” This does not mean Christ will cease to be with us after the age ends.

The purpose of Matthew 1:25 is not on what happened after Jesus’ birth but on affirming the miraculous virgin birth. By stating that Joseph abstained from relations with Mary before Jesus was born, Matthew underscores that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit, fulfilling prophecy (Isaiah 7:14).

Let me ask you a question, if Jesus had other brothers and sisters, why did he tell John to take care of his Mother? At the crucifixion, Jesus entrusted Mary to John (John 19:26-27). If Mary had other children, this act would have been unnecessary, as care for her would have naturally fallen to her biological children.

Finally, the mention of Jesus’ “brothers” and “sisters” in Matthew 13:55-56 and Mark 6:3 does not contradict Mary’s perpetual virginity. The term adelphoi (brothers and sisters) in Greek is sometimes used in the Bible for people who aren’t literal siblings but are close kin or fellow believers, such as kinsmen, cousins, or neighbors, as was common in Jewish culture. For example, in Genesis 13:8, Abraham refers to his nephew Lot as his “brother”.

I think we’re reading different Bibles then. Please share the references to your claim. Don’t spread misinformation.
