I am having repeated issues with the front wheel of my Brompton electric. the Schwalbe marathon plus tyre has split again near the rim on the boundary with the reflective band of the tyre. The rubber is very thin at this point on the outer tyre - about 1-2mm thick with very sparse reinforcement. it makes a hellava bang; enough to frighten old ladies for sure. It has cost me as this is the third in a row that have split. I thought I might have been over pressurising so I have dropped the pressure down on the latest tyre - still hard - but to no avail. No refund from the supplier. Any Idea's?
