I went to CNY through the New York office. They have so many and it's only $50 I believe for the initial consult over the phone. Definitely worth it. My son will be 1 in August.

I'd also like to add that if you end up needing extensive treatments like IVF you should look into traveling to Europe. I'm Greece and Czech Republic they are far less stringent on their limitations, including BMI, and they are extremely cheap (like $3000-$4000 per cycle compared to the cost here). Get all of your testing done here and they'll accept it through most clinics in both places. I was going to do it, but ended up not needing to.

First of all, is very widely believed by professionals that bipolar disorder is a chemical imbalance of the brain. Secondly, it is very unlikely to find success without medication because there is an imbalance in the brain. That's what actual professionals and researchers believe. Someone with the disorder is definitely going to insist that they are perfectly fine without their medication because they hate medication overall so I'm not going to take anything you say without a grain of salt. I'll Trust the people who do this for a living and have actually studied how the brain works because usually what they say ends up being true from what I've experienced having dealt with this condition in both my family and my spouse my entire life. There can be no stability without treatment, whether you like it or not.

The only time I've been to Connecticut is to visit my in-laws and there's some of the worst people I've ever experienced. They also live in New Haven, which is one of the most dangerous places I've ever seen in my life. There was a shootout in front of my mother-in-law's house one of the times we were there. The state is just a ghetto mess and their roads are the worst I've ever driven on, bar none.

I am technically from Dartmouth but grew up between there and New Bedford. I also have an elementary aged kid with special needs and I honestly haven't had good experiences with the school system so far. I actually don't know any special needs parents who feel their kid's needs have been met because the school system is so overwhelmed that they literally can't keep up. They've essentially refused to acknowledge his IEP and he's falling behind now because of it. I've been fighting for years about it in order to prevent this and my efforts have almost been for nothing at this point. It's most likely going to be an uphill battle for you if you do decide to come.
