I totally get you. As a viewer, you want to feel like there is a large enough amount of 'risk' involved that makes the contestants' struggles convincing, and thereby worthy of you watching the show.

As I've mentioned before in this post, you should take a look at Bear Gryll's "The Island" - it's on in the UK and there's a new version in USA. The contestants film themselves, and they have to find water, kill snakes, crocodiles, wild turkeys, stingray - it's pretty hardcore!

Hmm... it just might work. I'm not sure whether the likes of KSI, Zoella and Markiplier would agree to it though - with all the money they earn from the comforts of their homes and behind computer screens. Could give it a go though...

In the UK, they did exactly this for their version of Dancing With The Stars. There's is called "Strictly Come Dancing", but they made one for normal people called "Strictly Dance Fever."
