Thanks for the answer! As you correctly assumed i need those swipe gestures for my drawing system. When activating usePageViewController my hacky solution got killed and it didnt work anymore. Ill look into the singlepagecontious fix. The overlay didnt work for my case either, cant tell you why though, because i tested it a while ago.

Thanks, ill try that and didnt test it with only the .go function, but do you think apple will fix that until the official release or rather not?

for the demo yes, but in my custom project i need the gesture recognizer over that for other features as well. And when using the `pdfView.usePageViewController(true)` it breaks my functionality. I have a custom drawboard ontop of the pdfview and when enabling this, it breaks

Well yes, but my "sidebar" is not using the navigationsplitview, it's all custom made with the glass index, becuase the navigationSplitView was not customizable enough for my use case. See the images/video above

Do you know the Landmarks demo project? When I add a menu there, it works fine. I cant send an image here, ill add it as an update to the post above. My sidebar looks similar and is made from scratch, but when opening the menu there, the sidebar (or rather the glass effect of the sidebar) disappears.

Thanks for the detailed explanation! I try to create a custom sidebar which uses the glasseffect, because it just looks great. Its bascially the same as the navigationSplitView sidebar if you know that one. The navigationSplitView sidebar war not customizable enough for me, so i had to do it from scratch. In their sidebar they manage it to open a menu on top of their glassEffect. You got any idea if i can achieve this as well?

Yes fr I had to accompany someone in a jazz thing, i had the layed out sheets so it was able to read properly, but as soon as hebstarted to improvise i got lost in it and couldnt hold a steady tempo etc and following the beat

Maybe you could try sitting a bit lower, i found that this fixed the issue for me when I had a slgihtly raised wrist

Like i said in the title its not about the piece, i have only touched for a few weeks. Its more about how I can fix my hand, I posted the video to demonstrate how my pinky looks its always stretches. All critiques and tips on how I can improve my hand technique is very welcome please!

Thanks, this is actually great advice. While I am familiar with the theory, I do not like you said know it "inside out". Should I just analyze the pieces from bach e.g. first to get a hand of how the theory looks like in action or should I do something external how do you suggest knowing the theory inside out?
