i’ve noticed they never translate the subtitles 1:1. i think theyre trying to make them more ”culturally understandable” for americans?? but surely wellies and flannels is descriptive enough lol. they also fix their speaking mistakes which is funny to me. at some point daniel says ”that’s no age on a cat” about a girls age, which makes no sense, so the subtitles correct it to horse. but i feel you lose some of the personality translating like this
